Simplicity and Minimalist Retreat House, Lopez Island Cabin by Stuart Silk Architects
Sponsored LinksA cabin located on a wooded bluff area above Puget Sound, the area of 1300 square meters. Residence that looks very minimalist is dubbed Lopez Island Cabin, like a traditional retreat that has a shape and contemporary style. This is a project undertaken by Stuart Silk Architects, is equipped with several rooms, two bedrooms and two bathrooms are simple and small. Completion of this project make use of some simple materials, with an efficient plan to create a form, striking sculpture. Living room facing towards the west, bordered by glass walls as high as 14 feet, which gives uninterrupted views of the site of the Sound and mountains. Equipped with a single shed roof cantilevers over this space, evoking a sense of protection and blur the distinction between interior and exterior.
