The house is beautiful and fun, looks simple and take advantage of views of the mountains towards the south and west. The house is located on the edge of a hill surrounded by forests, located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Home-making project was undertaken by SPG Architects, nicknamed Leicester House They Designed in Asheville, North Carolina. Seen as a place to live simple, with wooden frames on the surroundings, this house also has a striking façade and views provided through the glass doors, so getting a beautiful hilltop view of the natural. The entry level serves as main living room, with guest wings carved into the top of the hill on the lower level. Functionality and energy efficiency programs achieved either by zoning and careful choice of materials, fixtures, fittings, and energy. This is a place to live simple and convenient. complement the visual warmth, with a foundation of modern structure and has views of the countryside. The interior of the house look spacious and blends, with a blend of warm wood furniture and fun.

Built by considering the existing structures, SPG architect was given the authority to build a beach house situated on a hill, secluded beach in Costa Rica. Using existing structures provide advantages for the client and the environment. Build with pre-existing structure is not easy, therefore, needed enough time to think to form a decent house and a beautiful beach. Because it is located in an remote area that home made independently for water and energy. Rely on solar energy to supply the energy used for lighting, appliances and others. By using solar cell large enough so it can produce energy (18.4kW) has become the largest solar cell arrays on the Costa Rica. Solar panels, both photovoltaic and hot water, sitting in the layer, a reflective roof & insulation, chemically inert and free of microbial-based ceramics are well-solar heat gain is minimized and providing clean water sources for homes and swimming pools. Interior Casa Torcida is a blend of modern and classic beach house, with decor that gives the impression of contemporary for this beach house. Contemporary furniture is also widely used in decorating the room like a kitchen and dining room that uses a wooden table with a contemporary style. Bathroom ideas using stone walls give the impression that the more contemporary look. Bedroom furniture that is used also to give the impression that comfortable with the material made of wood with natural color. With good ventilation and air then this beach house do not require air conditioning as the air-conditioner.
